I believe that Art is not an occupation but rather a way of living and depicting life in all its fullness. So rather than specializing with any one subject or in any one medium, I've embraced all the inspirations that have come my way and used the materials that seemed best to convey them. My work in oils include: floral still life paintings, plein air landscapes ~ mostly of Montana scenes but also other places I travel, and figurative paintings that portray the fleeting emotions of candid moments, as well as more formal portraits. My bronzes depict Native Americans in attitudes of dance and exchanges between adults and children.
